The HMI module is the intelligent interface between the charging station and the user. It extends the functional scope of an installed charge controller with actuators, sensors and communication interfaces to enable smooth interaction. The HMI modules are controlled via the USB 2.0 interface.

Both for operating the RFID reader and for the 11 internal RGB LEDs.
The RGB LEDs can be controlled individually and therefore offer a wide range of customisation options for the customer application. Additional external RGB LEDs can also be connected and controlled directly.
The integrated WiFi module enables wireless communication between the charging stations and the implementation of user authorisation. The two additional USB host outputs extend the module's connection options with further USB sockets.
In addition to the integrated sensors for temperature and ambient light, the module can be expanded to include a digital control input. An integrated buzzer provides acoustic feedback. The module also has an integrated relay contact, which is designed as a changeover contact and can switch external functions.
